WHAT DEPARTMENT DO YOU WORK IN, AND WHAT ARE THE MAIN TASKS OF YOUR CURRENT POSITION?
I have been working in the QHSE department at the Martainville site for 4 years.
Since the beginning of January, I have held the position of Quality Coordinator. In this role, I manage a team of three people and coordinate the activities of the quality department. I actively participate in conducting internal and external audits on the site, handle internal non-conformities as well as customer complaints.
I also contribute to the site’s continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT DÉLIFRANCE?
What I like about my job is having the freedom to express myself and put forward ideas. I feel heard, which is very motivating.
I also enjoy the fact that no two days are the same, so there’s never a dull moment!
Above all, I appreciate the sharing of knowledge and the strong cohesion between departments. Teamwork is, for me, essential to improve and successfully solve problems.
WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND?
After obtaining a professional bachelor’s degree in agri-food and biotechnological control, I joined a large laboratory as a sampling auditor specializing in the agri-food sector and hydrology.
This role allowed me to work across the entire Normandy region and collaborate with numerous industrial sites, including Délifrance.
I then progressed to a position as a Customer Projects Coordinator.
This role, both demanding and rewarding, mainly involved meeting the needs of companies in the hydrology sector.
Subsequently, I joined the Délifrance group as a Quality Technician at the Martainville site.
WHAT ARE THE REASONS THAT LED YOU TO JOIN US?
The desire to regain a work / life balance today, I work close to home. Also, the wish to return to the agri-food sector.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A NEW EMPLOYEE?
I would tell a new employee to be themselves and to respect the company’s values. Not to hesitate to be curious and to dare to share their opinion. Délifrance is a caring company that offers many opportunities for growth.
