Perfect for café brunch menus or a quick gourmet snack, this avocado toast combines the avocado softness, the delicate richness of soft-boiled eggs, and the freshness of chives , all balanced with a hint of chili heat. A crowd-pleaser that looks as good as it tastes, and pairs beautifully with an iced latte.

Bake the bread and cut one thick slice, which you can grill or toast until golden and crisp.
Bring a small pot of water to a gentle boil. Carefully add the eggs and cook for 5 minutes for a soft, jammy yolk. Transfer immediately to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking.
Dressing : 5 min
Then, cut the half avocado into thin slices and place it on top of the bread.
Peel the egg, slice it in half lengthwise (to keep the yolk intact), and place it on top of the avocado.
Sprinkle with chili flakes, chives, salt, and pepper, and seeds, and drizzle with lime juice.
Serve immediately.
