WHAT DOES JOINING DÉLIFRANCE GROUP MEAN TO YOU ?

A chance to work in a company where French heritage, product excellence and respect for people are at the heart of the business. An opportunity to grow in an international environment, learning from different markets while contributing to a consistent, high-quality experience wherever Délifrance is present.

WHAT WOULD BE THE THREE WORDS TO DEFINE DÉLIFRANCE?

Heritage, artisanal and innovation.

WHICH VALUES DO YOU SHARE WITH DÉLIFRANCE?

I strongly believe in respect and transparency in the way we work together, from how we handle numbers to how we communicate with teams, and that matches the “human chain” mindset of the brand. Continuous improvement is also very important to me: I like to challenge existing processes and find smarter ways of working, while safeguarding quality and consistency. In that sense, I see a very natural alignment between my way of working and the way Délifrance balances tradition with innovation, in its products and culture.

WHAT DEPARTMENT DO YOU WORK IN, AND WHAT ARE THE MAIN TASKS OF YOUR CURRENT POSITION?

I am the Finance Manager of the company, with additional responsibility for HR and IT. My focus is on safeguarding the company’s assets, ensuring financial accuracy and performance, supporting our people in their development, and maintaining reliable systems that enable the business to run smoothly.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT DÉLIFRANCE?

The diversity of my role, because it allows me to work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. I really appreciate the genuine passion I see in people and the way the company dares to combine years of baking tradition with innovative solutions and new product concepts. It’s inspiring to see how this mix of heritage and innovation can actually shape new trends.

WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND?

I have nearly two decades of experience spanning the broader finance function. I started  my career as an external financial auditor. After a decade of consulting and auditing I decided to move towards big FMCG companies, working initially in more traditional finance roles (assistant to the CFO and later on, as an internal auditor) before switching to a more commercial one: Finance Business Partner in Commercial, Marketing and Strategy Departments. This was my last role before joining Delifrance in July 2024, as a Finance Manager.

WHAT ARE THE REASONS THAT LED YOU TO JOIN US?

The opportunity represented for me, both: a professional and personal challenge. I was motivated by the breadth of the role and the chance to step beyond my comfort zone while contributing across multiple functions. Equally compelling was the international exposure and the opportunity to be part of a well-established, prestigious brand with a strong heritage and longstanding reputation for excellence.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A NEW EMPLOYEE?

Be curious and don’t hesitate to ask questions.
Take initiative: Everyone brings something, and each person contributes at their own level to the company’s success.

IF DELIFRANCE COULD BE SUMMED UP IN A SONG TITLE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

“What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, because it is timeless as our heritage and speaks about the beauty in everything. For me, the brand is all about those small, everyday pleasures that Delifrance subtly turns into something exceptional from the smell of a freshly baked croissant to a simple moment with loved ones, sharing anything from a plain sandwich to a more sophisticated artisanal bread that opens new dimensions of taste.

DO YOU HAVE AN INCREDIBLE TALENT?

I wouldn’t call it incredible, but if I have a superpower, it’s staying calm and embracing change. I keep a cool head when things shift and use that stability to help others adapt and turn change into opportunity.

WHAT ARE THE THREE THINGS YOU WOULD BRING TO A DESERT ISLAND?

A pen and a notebook, because I’d want to journal the experience and make some sketches, and a knife, because the practical side of me knows I’ll need something versatile to craft things and prepare meals.
