WHAT DEPARTMENT DO YOU WORK IN, AND WHAT ARE THE MAIN TASKS OF YOUR CURRENT POSITION?
I work in the commercial team as a Key Account Manager for Foodservice and Retail, where I am responsible for managing key customer relationships and supporting business growth in these channels.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT DÉLIFRANCE?
What I like most about working at Délifrance is the combination of being able to develop yourself and grow in your role, together with a real passion for the product and the craft. I started as a Product Specialist and, through several steps, developed into the role I have today. My background as a baker also makes this connection with the product and craftsmanship especially meaningful to me. In addition, the long-term customer relationships we have built over the years are very valuable to me.
WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND?
My career started as a baker. From there, I continued to develop myself through education focused on new roles and responsibilities, which also allowed me to develop new skills and competencies. Over the years, I have worked in different parts of the market, including bakeries, wholesalers and industry. Throughout this journey, I have always remained closely connected to the product categories within the bakery market.
WHAT ARE THE REASONS THAT LED YOU TO JOIN US?
The opportunity to continue developing myself in a different market segment was an important reason for joining Délifrance. At the same time, I feel a strong connection through the shared values and passion that we have in common.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A NEW EMPLOYEE?
My advice to a new employee would be to be yourself and really embrace the Délifrance mindset. It is a company that truly suits you or it does not, so it is important to take initiative, show ownership, and dare to take responsibility. Making mistakes is part of the process, as long as you learn from them. If you show courage, take responsibility, and keep learning, you will continue to grow.
DO YOU HAVE AN INCREDIBLE TALENT?
I am very driven when it comes to sports, especially running. I also really enjoy preparing food on the barbecue.
WHAT ARE THE THREE THINGS YOU WOULD BRING TO A DESERT ISLAND?
I would bring the knowledge needed to keep myself and others alive, and of course my family and friends.
